About Us

Welcome to Lakeside Haven Cottages (formerly Camp Carol)!

For over 60 years, Camp Carol was a beloved family-owned campground. When the previous owners retired, I left my desk job to pursue my dream of living on Black Lake, a place I've loved for over 30 years. Now, I'm excited to share this beautiful spot in the Thousand Islands region of northern New York with you.

Located on the upper part of Black Lake with 700 feet of lakefront, our property offers a peaceful cove, boat dockage, and cozy, fully-equipped cottages with kitchens, heating, air conditioning, and screened porches. We also have RV sites for those who love lakeside camping.
